Karan is running a cycle stand on lease. Meenakshi loses her mother at a young age and is studying to be a doctor. Can an ordinary man who is running a cycle stand on lease become the husband of a doctor?
 In this film, it is possible.Karan wants Meenakshi to become a doctor and their romance goes along one track and Meenakshi’s studies on the other. Things are quite smooth but all of a sudden, Meenakshi’s relatives turn up as the villains of the story. Will Meenakshi marry her man?
Keeping his fright inside him, Karan continues to show external bravado and entertains us in these early scenes. He also impresses when he dons the role of Rajini for a dance drama and laments that he is sacrificing his love so his girl can become a doctor.
